    Methodology

    • Installation of accelerometers directly on cables using specialized clamps.
    • Inducing vibrations either manually or with a rubber mallet.
    • Capturing acceleration signals and processing them through Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to determine fundamental vibration frequencies.

    Application Conditions

    • Measurements performed with partial road closure to eliminate traffic-induced vibrations.
    • Utilized lifting equipment (nacelle) to safely access cable locations.
